To remove an input field, select it in the Inputs panel and click Delete. You can select and delete several at once.
When you delete a field, the property it controlled keeps its current value as a fixed value. The element on the canvas does not change or disappear; it simply stops being editable in the design generator.
Deleting a group or collection also removes every field inside it.
