Cover mode controls how an image fills its box when its proportions do not match the box. Set it in the Property Panel for a selected image. There are three options:
- Cover: the image fills the whole box, cropping whatever does not fit. Nothing is distorted, but the edges may be cut off.
- Contain: the image fits entirely inside the box, so the whole image stays visible. Empty space is left wherever the proportions do not match.
- Stretch: the image is stretched to fill the box exactly, which can distort it if its proportions differ from the box.
Cover is the usual choice for photos that should always fill a frame, no matter what your users upload. Contain is almost always the right choice for logos, so they are never cropped or distorted.
