Text: Curved text

Bend a line of text along a Path element, like an arc or a circle.

Last updated June 15, 2026

Curved text bends a line of text along a Path element instead of sitting in a straight box. You set it up in two steps:

  1. Add a Path element shaped the way you want the text to flow, for example an arc for a badge or a circle for a seal.
  2. Select the text element, turn on Curved Text in its properties, and choose that path from the Path dropdown.

The text now runs along the path, and it still resizes and wraps by the same rules as any other text.

Two settings fine-tune how the text sits on the path:

  • Inner Glyph Anchor: where the text sits along the path, at its Start, Middle, or End.
  • Baseline: how the letters meet the line. Baseline rests them on it, Hanging lets them hang below it, and Middle centres them on it.
